Covered porch minimum ceiling height?

I have a deck attached to a house with a roof - no walls. I'm considering it a covered porch. For a non-screened covered porch is there a minimum ceiling height? IRC only lists a 7' min. for screened covered porches and this isn't habitable space so I'm not sure if anything else applies?

Seems to me the minimum ceiling height would be 7 feet. Basements allow some exceptions for dropped beams, etc. Not sure about porches. Do you have at least 7 feet existing ceiling height? Why are you calling this non habitable space?

No. I think it was less than those heights. I ended up letting it go since I couldn't find a code reference requiring it.
Also since you could get from the house on the deck it wasn't an exit path. The more I think about it, it is just a shed roof attached to the house at this point. Like overhangs people build to protect wood piles, etc. ?
