Not where I really want to be
In Tallahassee staying in Collegetown, home of FSU. Quite the nice area. Much cooler weather than South Florida but it took me seven hours to get here.  I’m here for work. Will be having a discussion with some legislators at the capitol this week. Looking forward to some meaningful conversations.

especially when it comes to changing the rules around the building code
I suppose I like you well enough however, I am somewhat relieved knowing that I live in California.

Kidding aside, every new building or construction related legislation the California government produces makes me think that they didn’t consult with anyone even remotely familiar with the codes or construction.

Shoot, they don't even consult with each other! It seems like every agency has their agenda and a lot of times they don't support each other.
