Not where I really want to be
Within the next few weeks or month, we will be moving servers. Unfortunately, Amazon has more than doubled its charges very recently, and over the past year, our server fees have almost quadrupled. I will give everyone a heads up, but we will pick a Friday to do the change so I don't have to pay weekend IT rates to do the swap. This should be seamless, and we will be running parallel systems until we are sure we are at 100%. It may still take 24-48 hours for the new site to propagate all links, so by Monday, we should be operating at 100%. I will pick a Friday sometime this month, and we will go from there. Thank you for your patience.

Amazon is getting out of hand with their pricing, and although uptime has been excellent on their end, the new server company will be even better and cut the fees in half.

This is why it is so important that everyone understands the vital importance of the Sawhorse membership. Please consider joining as a Sawhorse member, and if you already are, mention it to those that you work with. Our Sawhorse numbers fluctuate very little but have not really grown in the past 8 years or so, but the costs have. For $49 per year, you really can't go wrong. Please share.

I was in a Whole Foods this week, first time in many years. Apparently they have a relationship with Amazon. At the self service checkout, they had the usual ways to pay, in addition to a small device next to the terminal, and it was an Amazon device. Once you enrolled in the program, you wave your palm at the device, it recognizes your palm print and charges your card on file.
