Alterations and Accessibility

I think ADA says you're not required to spend more than 20% of the construction cost to come into compliance.. i could be wrong.. I'm old.

Having said that.. the building owner is the one on the hook with DOJ first.. then the designer (who is supposed to know what's required).. the municipality and inspectors are pretty low on punitive food chain.
