This is for a SFR so NEC 555 does not apply up to the 2014 NEC but does due to the changes in the NEC 2017 which clarifies that NEC 555 does indeed apply to one and two family residences.
This has a 100A 240V double breaker that feeds it and this particular one supplies two 50A 240V receptacles, one 30A 240V receptacle, one 20A 120V GFCI duplex and a light at the top, not to mention there is a hose bib at the base of this. The 100A feeder is not GFCI protected as required in the 2011 and 2014 NEC because one and two family dwellings are excepted. I am happy to see that the 2017 finally addresses the dangers of 50 or 100A feeders on the water.
Boat lifts have required GFCI for a while, I was wondering why the delay with the very common dock pedestals like this one?
