Based on my experience as the Fire Marshal in Sunnyvale, California and HazMat Coordinator for the Seattle Fire Department, we regularly amended Sec 105.1 in the IFC by adding or deleting permits and permit threshold quantities. In some cases we even specified the renewed time period (annual, bi-annual, etc.). These changes were required to be reflected and approved as a part of our local adoption ordinance.Does your jurisdiction amend the annual permit section 105.1.1 and 105.1.2 and if not how does that work? How typically uses an annual permit?
