There is software out there that does what you are looking for. You can have a lot of dropdown lists, reduce the number of permit techs, and keep the good ones at a better pay rate. You will always need eyes on everything, but techs will have more time if they don't have to spend a lot of time on verifying the basics.Yes but how do you check all documents required were submitted? Or check that all files uploaded are correct documents (not BS "plans")? Or check that plans are code-compliant? Or check that plans aren't missing seals?
Ultimately that falls on the permit technician but we don't have many and they are burning out. That is what we are exploring AI for... unless there's another option?
