I have a problem and figured it was a good opportuinty to start an "Ask The Webmaster" thread.

I was fooling around and hit the "hide my name" on the control thingy; and can't get my name back up at the bottom of the first page.

I went back and clicked on the correct spot; but, it still won't change back.

Log out, clear your Cache and then log back in.

That usually fixes the problem.

Your computer tries to load the last page it 'saw' when you go back to a site. Sometimes it gets confused.

Thanks, I was leaving the site without logging out; and as you said; it stayed the same. When I logged out and logged back in it works.
