Aspen Carbon Monoxide Case Dissmissal

Unfortunately the Court's ruling didn't definitively clear the inspector of criminal wrongdoing as the dismissal was based on the time limitations

Almost no criminal case clears the defendent--

The case is dismissed or the defendent is at best found "Not Guilty" at trial.

All it takes to be found "not guilty" is a reasonable doubt that they are guilty (OJ)

or it may be not guilty with Jury comments-- yes he shot and killed the Federal Marshal but wrong people are on trial and the Feds later settled with the shooter that killed the marshal for $380,000 in damages. (Kevin Harris)
