Okay, one observation.

I cleared my cache and it cleared all of my auto log ins. I went to log back in on the board this AM and could not log in on the main forum page due to a banner ad. I did manage to log in by going to this part of the forum and clicking on the post new thread button.

Hopefully you will be set with no problems. Also, you should not be seeing banner ads as a Forum Supporter. I still see them as administrator but they don't bother me. I tucked it farther up in the main header so the board is more functional

SueHave you adjusted the "zoom" controls on your display?
Haven't touched anything on the controls. This just happened, dunno why. I won't be clearing my cache again anytime soon. : )

Jeff -

I think that is what puzzled me also. What I did do (mistake) was download Exploder 8. I have now switched to Firefox, without my IT guy's consent, which is helping. The banner ads appeared with both browsers, hence my comment.

Thanks again for this board.

I just got a new computer and haven't signed on yet with cookies enabled. The #$%&* banner ad was right where I needed to sign in.

And no way to close the darn thing! I clicked on 'What's New' and got to the logon screen that way.

Update... resizing does work. I was set to 125% (takes the fuzz off the letters). Reset to 100% and the ad moved up enough to see the login.

Maybe I should use other programs to check the condition of the forum. I am mostly on Safari(Mac) at home and Firefox(PC) at work. The banner is never in my way and I could log on and off without a problem. Custom settings on your browser will certainly affect your viewing of this or any other site. Thanks for the heads up.

I hate IE. Won't use it at all
I think that the Exploder download is what caused the problem.

Had the banner ads today, had to circumvent to log in by going to a thread and hitting 'post new thread'. It popped up the log -in box in the middle of the screen. I never log off of this site, hence my puzzlement when I pull up the webpage and it wants me to log in every time. Hopefully, I can stay logged on when I leave this time.
