CA Primary Election Day, June 5, 2012

Sue:

It rained most of the day here in the Bay Area yesterday, I sent my welders and special inspectors home at 11:00 a.m.

This morning I came to work to see mold growing all over my new California formula 1-1/8 T&G subfloor, while the old portion of the home (I'm playing that game of leaving part of the old home standing to get classified as a remodel to beat the Green Code, Fire Sprinklers, and Affordable Housing fee) while the 30 year-old formaldehyde laden plywood is fine. California has now traded formaldehyde for mold, my air-quality consultant told me to be thankful it wasn't OSB, they can't sand the mold out of the new OSB but can plywood, so I'll bring my hardwood flooring guy down and have him run his big floor sander all over it, he says that with OSB they have to tear it up and replace it with new.
