By code? no limit....but I would suggest that as it is typically a requirement of the sewer authority, check with them...

I'd think the manufacturer of the grease trap would have more to say than the sewer guys. My guys wouldn't give 2 hoots - as long as there's a trap somewhere between the building and the main is all they're looking for/at.
