The plan is for a concrete cap on the raised bond beam. There is no detail on the plans. There's no connection to the bond beam. I have seen it done with a concrete deck overhanging the bond beam and in that case there is no connection to the bond beam.

Setback distance to the property line ?

It meets the setback requirement and I did ask for a detail from the engineer. i was filling in for another inspector so I won't know what happens.
