crown vented traps

i know the rule is 2 times (minimum) the pipe diameter between the top of the trap and where it connects to a stack or drain, but i can't find it in the ipc 2006. anybody got a reference. it was on my texas plumbing inspectors test, it's gotta be in the code
 
2009 IPC

906.3 Crown vent. A vent shall not be installed within two pipe diameters of the trap weir.

1002.3 Prohibited traps. The following types of traps are prohibited:

1. Traps that depend on moving parts to maintain the seal.

2. Bell traps.

3. Crown-vented traps.

4. Traps not integral with a fixture and that depend on interior partitions for the seal, except those traps constructed of an approved material that is resistant to corrosion and degradation. 5. "S" traps. 6. Drum traps.

Exception: Drum traps used as solids interceptors and drum traps serving chemical waste systems shall not be prohibited.

Take a look IPC 1002.3
 
thanks all 906.3 was what i was after, i know it is prohibited, couldn't find it in the field when i needed it. thanks again
