From the meter it goes to the attic and the underfloor. When I asked for the installer's CSST certification, the contractor told me that he is a licensed general building contractor so that allows him to do whatever he wants. When I asked about bonding he assured me that he has a bond and workers comp too. This is so ugly and it was done not to protect the CSST but rather for aesthetics.

Then I went on vacation. While I was gone the work was approved. About four months later I happened to be in the neighborhood and I took this picture. My guess is that within a year, the jacket will be on the ground, the kink in the pipe at the meter will be worse and maybe the house will be gone because the kids took pruning shears and a BIC lighter to the pipe.

The worst part of this is that during my inspection, I didn't investigate the work inside the attic or underfloor because the contractor and owner got way angry and asked me to get off the property. The owner delivered a letter to the office stating that he would not allow me back on his property and requesting a different inspector.

By the way, it was a planned vacation or I would have been back.

OH well! Can't win them all.

A bond and workers comp. Sounds like he has all the bases covered. What is your question? How can we be of service?

Depends if you are cooking with gas it generally overcooks food after it gets up to temp; electric on the other hand will cook faster but not as thorough. Try making them thinner!

Well boys load up the tools cause our work here is done!

Im sure Better Homes and Gardens will be right over for a pictoral layout for the fall edition!

ICE,

Try coating the entire inside of the pan with Crisco ( brand ) vegetable shortening.

Mine never stick when I use this!

So, your contractors actually ask for another inspector too. Boy that sounds

familiar!

ICE,

Use a non-stick pan!

I like pecans or walnuts on top of the browinies, but not in them, is that wierd?

Agree with francis, gas or electric makes a difference.

Try this :D

5 MINUTE CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE

4 tablespoons flour

4 tablespoons sugar

2 tablespoons cocoa

1 egg

3 tablespoons milk

3 tablespoons oil

3 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional)

A small splash of vanilla extract

1 large coffee mug (MicroSafe)

Add dry ingredients to mug, and mix well. Add the egg and mix thoroughly.

Pour in the milk and oil and mix well..

Add the chocolate chips (if using) and vanilla extract, and mix again.

Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1000 watts.

The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed!

Allow to cool a little, and tip out onto a plate if desired.

EAT ! (this can serve 2 if you want to feel slightly more virtuous).

And why is this the most dangerous cake recipe in the world? :devil

Because now we are all only 5 minutes away from chocolate cake at any time of the day or night!

On the brownies... after greasing pan with your choice of oil, crisco, butter, whatever (WD-40, you crack me up!), sprinkle in a little flour to coat the entire pan.

On the CSST... If there are kids in the house, try calling Children/Family Services. Report it as a hazardous condition.
