A local resident put this question, about which I had an opinion, but not based on anything but my immediate thought.

Is there a difference between sewerage and sewage?

Exactly my commonsense reaction. One is product, other is process.

Another word I have trouble with is "electrical" when "electric" does just fine as an adjective. If we save a couple of letters, it should save space, ink, paper, trees, thought, energy, and maybe lots more. Electric is greener than electrical.

Numero tres. "Lenience" vs "leniency".
