Did CA eliminate bathtub control offset for some public adaptable units?

Yikes

In 2019 and earlier editions of the Calif. Bldg. Code, covered multifamily dwellings in public housing had to comply with CBC 11A for adaptability (11B-233.3.1.2).
That included this requirement in fig. 11A-9F to offset tub controls away from the center of the bathtub as shown below:

However, in the 2022 CBC, the requirements for tub controls in adaptable dwellings in public housing moved to 11B-809.10.5.3, where no mention is made of offsetting the controls:

Was this an oversight, or was the offset requirement intentionally eliminated for adaptable units in public housing?
I notice the offset requirement still remains for private housing in the 2022 CBC fig. 11A-9F.

The 2019 CBC did not require offset controls for bathtubs in units with adaptable features, only that the controls be located on the wall at the foot of the bathtub-see §1134A.5 Item 1. The figure you posted does not apply to units with adaptable features (nor to public housing under Chapter 11B) only to Common Use Facilities subject to Chapter 11A (§1127A.5.2.4).

Thanks! I guess I misunderstood that figure for many years.
