Although we see it all the time, it is against the NFPA 70, aka National Electrical Code (NEC) to attach low voltage wires to electrical conduit? This is one of the most common violations that I see in IT rooms, above ceilings in commercial buildings and electrical rooms. The code reads as follows:

NEC 800.133(B)

(B) Support of Communications Wires and Cables. Raceways
shall be used for their intended purpose. Communications
wires and cables shall not be strapped, taped, or attached by
any means to the exterior of any raceway as a means of support.
