Do electrical room walls need to be fire rated?

Hello!

Conceptually, does an electrical room wall need to have a fire resistance rating on its surrounding walls? I've been digging through the IBC and see Table 509.1 of the 2021 SC Building Code.

This references NFPA 70/NEC. However, while I see rating requirements for "electrical vault" rooms in NFPA 70, I don't see a rating for a typical normal room with an electrical panel it.

Let's ignore other reasons the walls might be rated (construction type, etc.) for the sake of this question.

Thanks!
