Energy recovery ventilators

We usually only see HRVs, but we make sure that the units are getting power. You would be amazed how many times one is installed without an outlet. I will generally crank a unit and to a quick walk around to check the flows to see if they're relatively balanced. If they feel the same to me when I'm looking for it, most people should be able to detect a difference. Outlet should be louvered to close automatically. Inlet should have an insect screen...That's all I look for usually.
