Fab-Form Footing/Foundation Wall system

Set time is how long it takes to harden enough to continue finishing operations. (hours)

Curing is how long it takes to reach it's design strength. (weeks)

For example, if you are pouring a slab directly over vapor barrier, all of the bleed water is forced out the open top of the slab which delays the initial set.
For curing (all of the water reacting with the portland) more available free water allows for a faster reaction since the water needs to travel less to get to the unreacted portland.

No opinion or endorsement, but thought they might have faced this.
If the bottom is cut out the sides will fail to hold back the concrete. That will require conventional form-work. As the letter stated, a uffer is not required if the concrete is not in contact with Earth.

It would seem the manufacturer could develop a solution, a 20'+ piece that had netting or something that would provide sufficient ground contact and not additional forms. Maybe a piece that would dissolve, or even a metalic section.

Just a thought.
