Fire escape inspection requirement - 2024 IFC

In the 2018 IFC, section 1104.16.5.1 required fire escapes to be inspected every 5 years by a design professional and and inspection report to be submitted to the Fire Code Official. This is gone from the 2024 edition. Does anyone know if it is covered elsewhere in the code, or was the inspection requirement completely removed?
