Question for those with experience reviewing lateral design calculations prepared by an engineer in accordance with the 2015 AWC SDPWS.
Is it permissible to use full height openings when using the Force Transfer method (4.3.5.2). The proposed configuration has an 8'0"x8'0" storefront glazing opening in a 17'6" shearwall panel. Glazing will sit directly atop the foundation wall.
