The Gas Company has a program for low income folks that provides water heaters and wall furnaces for free. Sometimes they get their money's worth. I found this as a result of a el. service upgrade inspection.

No straps. No water shut-off valve. No T&P drain pipe. The gas shut-off valve is not accessible. The enclosure is wide open at the back. The gas connector diameter is too small. And best of all, no permit. The owner said that the work was done several months ago.

The switch, FMC, power cord and receptacles that are on the right will be gone.
