Good point, but I require an exiting analysis on ALL submittals! I consider that a bare minimum for indicating compliance with the code...

I've never asked for one for residential submittals.... ;)

I stand corrected! I also do NOT ask for an exiting plan on IRC residential, however on IBC multifamily, hotels, etc. I always do, so yes, some Residential submittals require an exiting plan.
