Does anyone have a need for a set of piston rings for an Opel?

I have a woman acquaintance who would very much like for me to refer to her as my girlfriend. A few dropped hints indicated her imminent birthday... "Oh, well, okay... What might you like for a gift?"

There are, apparently, at least two kinds of opal rings. I selected the incorrect type.

Ah, the Wood Chipper. We may as well put a wood chipper on out city flag!

This article in the local Fargo Forum tells of a piece of art in the Fargo Chamber of Commerce office. We Fargoans know how to get every ounce of milk out of things!

I'm sort of thinking of making hoop earrings for her out of the piston rings. I have the feeling I would get the same response as before to that effort.

Well... my first car was an Opel, traded a pair of hiking boots for it and should have realized why he wanted the boots and that I'd soon be needing them. Being young and dumb I pulled the engine with the help of a couple of friends and we learned beam theory, yup you'll break a double 2x4 trying to lift an engine out of a car. We got it out and it took longer to rebuild than landlord was tolerant of and so in the end I had an engine but no car. No problem I really wanted their gt anyway and now I had a fresh motor, life was good. I've moved that crate a half dozen times or more, my best man has officially put out notice that he will not help move it to the nursing home and the wife was never fond of the thing from the get go. So, if you find that gt and really want to impress the lady...you have parts.

Always good to keep at least some focus during conversation with one's spouse. I must have been planning something on the '35 and said it out loud when my mind drifted "God I love old flatties"

DRP hit it on the head - is it for an Opel GT or the Opel Kadet?? Good luck with that :)

Are you looking for her to stay with you? If not, a chainsaw is always a great gift :)
