Head of Wall Design

Working on a project with an electrical room that requires a two-hour wall rating. All walls terminate at bottom of steel roof deck except one that terminates at the bottom of an HSS beam supporting bar joists for the roof. I checked UL but didn't see a conditional similar to described above. Does anyone have any suggestions for terminating the wall in this manner?

I have seen different solutions, doubt you will find an off the shelf method, that won't require a RDP seal on it.

Is the rating to omit sprinklers or some other reason?

Even if an registered design professional is involved the solution should be grounded in something allowed by the code.

So a fire barrier....So it cannot "terminate to the beam", it has to go to the roof deck...

707.5 Continuity. Fire barriers shall extend from the top of
the foundation or floor/ceiling assembly below to the underside
of the floor or roof sheathing, slab or deck above

I would allow the assembly to be "split" with studs and 2 layers 5/8 on both sides like a really fat stud wall, but not sure if you could find that listing...U419 is sticking out in my mind as the multilayer steel stud wall of choice...
