Anybody out there? Forum is a bit slow this morning, no new post for thhe last couple hours. What's are y'all up to this weekend?

I am finally going to get a little bit of scooter riding in the mountains tomorrow, going to look at a wedding venue for my son and his bride tommorrow, up above Estes Park. They were married in WA in Feb last year before he deployed to Afghan, but they want to do it up right after he gets home, on their one year anniversary. Good excuse to bust the Fatboy out, right?

It's Friday in the summer - I'm leaving work early just because....

same here. the dam in my creek for the irrigation pump is getting low so i will put on the swim trunks ,grab a few cold ones, and jump in and raise the dam.

it will be in the 90's so time for the water!

Happy Friday!

It's summer so I'm the weekend gas jockey at the airport. Lawn chair, cold drinks, ice cream, and an a/c. A wonderful break from the maddening world with the peace and quiet.......ahhhhhhhhh!

Rick & JP, I am heading up for a quick weekend 10-12, not taking the scooter, just going to hang with the cousins up there, walk downtown.

Congratulations! Just got back from Estes Park and RMNP, I have always loved the view from Mary's Lodge Dining Deck across the valley. Took my girlfriend up with me this year and brought back a fiancee. Let me know if you find a good venue, not a lot of great options around here, and I am always trying to find a way to get back to the mountains.

The place we went to is called Della Terra, actually backs right up to RMNP. Beautiful venue, built pretty much just for weddings, a bit pricey, but in the off-season it's not too bad. Really nice folks, had a good tour, no pressure at all.
