high rise building

26000+ sf on the floor;

if a new separate tenant is taking part of the floor does the wall separating the tenants have to be rated?

please provide chapter & verse.

both tenants are use group B - Business.

I do believe that the exit corridor to each exit stair would have to be rated....but the dividing wall not so sure...

thx u.

Are you over 420 feet tall where the special provisions kick in?

I don't think the tenant separtion walls or the corridors are reqiured to be fire resistive rated. Where are you seeing that requirement?

848-foot total height. 58 stories....

Two Liberty Place, philadelphia, pa

tenants on 24th floor....so very close to 420 feet..

Not seeing it in the 2009 IBC for separation....colleague in office seemed to think it was required however.

thx.
