Honey, can we put a bedroom in the garage?

Re: Honey, can we put a bedroom in the garage?

It could not possibly be a bedroom because the window is not properly sized as an escape window!

J.D., no I'm just me. I was wef24 on the "other" bb. I do see a lot of outrageous code violations in any given week with this new job I have.

This was a foreclosed home that our NSP office bought to renovate and sell. I wrote up three and a half pages of code violations in about 3 hours. They actually made the entire right side of the garage two extra bedrooms. Just outside of these bedroom doors, you could drive a car right in. I just stood there in amazement for about 5 minutes before I started my inspection of the interior.

Coug Dad, yeah, that window is no where near 5 sq. ft. of opening. I believe the sill was about 48" from the floor too.
