Greetings

Expansion/remodel of A-5 restrooms. 2012 IPC. In reading section 607.3, does "bathing and washing purposes" fit the requirement for the use of hot or tempered water in stadium restooms? Restrooms are not in the same building with the concession stand.

I certainly agree with JBI, I don't see how you can avoid it since washing your hands when going to the bathroom is considered required for sanitation purposes.

or tempered water
TEMPERED WATER. Water having a temperature range between 85°F (29°C) and 110°F (43°C).

HOT WATER. Water at a temperature greater than or equal to 110°F (43°C).

The soap is the disinfectant not the the tempered or hot water. All the warm water does is make it easier to get the soap off and comfort.

85 degrees is almost tap water in south Fl
