How Do I Insert An Image?

Sorry for a stupid question, but how do I insert or attach an image to my posts? The "Image" and "Media" buttons prompt me for a url, and the "Insert" button doesn't have an option for images. Sometimes I just want to upload a PDF or JPG sketch to help illustrate my questions.

I guess you are paid card carrying member of the BCF.

If so there should be a tab at bottom that says upload a file

I don't have that tab at the bottom, when I create a new post or respond to one, like your image shows.

Do I have to be a paid subscriber to get that option?
