How Germans do handrails

They may meet codes in the US IF the handrails provided are within the required means of egress width - the middle handrail would not be required. Thus, could be ornamental art as such. 2021 IBC 1014.9. The design meets the requirement for handrails to be on both sides of the stairway.

I don't know what German accessibility standards are, but the wall rails don't met US accessibility standards.
