for making you look bad....Hey now, you should have told the owner about the leak. Obviously it has been leaking for some time so you wouldn't be blamed for causing the leak. But you didn't and I did...so the owners first reaction is "Why didn't the electrician tell me." One small slight leads to a bad review.

Heck, he's just an electrician, do you expect him to know everything about plumbing too? Besides, identifying plumbing leaks was not part of his scope of work!

That is kind of like my pet peeve of going out to look at a new roof and seeing the chimney crumbling above it....Sure would make sense to fix it before the mason has to work on a new roof....But then the owner may not have the money to do the roof and the roofer loses a sale...
