Too late. The 7th Edition becomes outdated on 1-1-2014.

Actually, the Code Check 7th Edition doesn't become relevant until a jurisdiction adopts the 2012 IRC. That may never happen. So obviously it isn't going to be outdated on 1-1-2014. For all I know, it could be the book to have in 2014.
