Space between two doors in a series shall be 48 inches (1219 mm) minimum plus the width of a door swinging into the space.

Does this apply to electrical rooms, telecommunication rooms and mech rooms?

Would say yes, but normally do not see doors in series in these settings.

Plus check the requirement for panic hardware in some electrical rooms.

Thanks.

I agree its not common but this is a comm room renovation with rated walls in an existing large storage room. Trying to avoid rerouting piping etc.

Another option, if there are only a few occupants, is to reswing one of the doors so it doesn't swing into the space.
