2018 IBC & IFC
Pennsylvania did not adopt the IFC in its entirety, only to the extent that it is listed in Chapter 35 Referenced Standards.
I flip open the IBC and start looking at the adopted IFC sections, which include Table 307.1(1) and Table 307.1(2). I open the IFC and there is no Table 307.1(1) or Table 307.1(2). I continue reading IBC chapter 35 and see that certain subsections from sections 410 through 428 are adopted. The copy of my IFC stops at section 407.7, as does the online version. Section 918.1 is adopted, but it doesn't exist in the IFC. I continue on and see sections from Chapters 15 & 16 are adopted, even though those entire chapters do not exist.
I skimmed through the 2015 IBC chapter 35, and I see more of the same absent code sections adopted. Am I missing something or did ICC drop the ball on this?
