Icc building official

Hello all. Looking to take the florida building codes and standards exam. I'm sure it's similar from the national BC. Hoping for some advice and pitfalls to avoid. Using the 2018 code books.

Appreciate any knowledge and tips provided.

Being a special inspector and never working for a building department I really had no one to go to on help that I needed aka electrical.

That fits the mold for quite a few Building Officials that I've known.
