IEBC 305.4.2 Exception = Type B units with no required accessible route?

Two story change of use, B occ ground floor, six R2 units on the second floor, no ramp, no elevator.

2018 IEBC no amendments "Exception: The accessible features listed in Items 1 through 6 are not required for an accessible route to Type B units."

Unless I'm misreading, we'll have Type B units with no accessible route?

Depends. Doesn't a change of use trigger IBC requirements?

Maybe...you also have to look at 305.7 and Ch. 11 IBC for "upgrades"....
