During my time as a guest I could not see pictures. That was a drag. I'm thinking: HEY! I am your guest. If you come to MY house you can use the good furniture. YOU take down all the pictures before I come over.

OK I understand the logic, I was in marketing before advertising, one just sorta led to the other.

Here's the deal: The carrot can't be bit until you deal with the registration .... So far it's a one carrot pony.

Well there is the dealing with .... advantage of being able to post. The majority do not do that so it's out of the carrot bunch.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but numbers will make a difference. There are 1329 members and maybe 100 talk to each other. It took 1329 to find 100.

Back to the pony. Add carrots. I would scrounge for those carrots and get them for free. Ideas are free so I look there for carrots.

Here's one. How about a section that contains links. Somebody sent me a link for photo editing in a thread and as cool as that is, the only people that find it are those that stumble upon it. If there was a members only section for links, by now there would be hundreds. Think of what Brudgers would give us. You build it and they will come. Lots of people would .... just for that.

Don't ask me how. I'm an idea guy.

You too can be an Idea guy or gal.

Bring them out, who knows, somebody might join just because they have a smooooth idea. I did.

If we post a list of general links it'll be hundreds long and pretty unwieldy, search or google would be more efficient. Photos visible to everyone is good, I didn't realize they weren't. Changing the header line wouldn't hurt my feelings, always seemed like we're calling people who visit ignorant.

Ya that header is a doozy. I hadn't noticed it before now. Maybe because it's hard to read with that background. I haven't tried search or google. I'll give it a whirl. Unwieldy is not worth doing. It would take some pizazz to get people interested. It would need categories and tools and a bunch of stuff I don't know anything about. There must be some real computer technocrats in the audience. Can you hear me now?

Here is a perfect example of a thread with a bunch of great links that I found by accident.

After I found that thread I did a search on the word links. A ton of threads showed up. The search function is pretty smart because I got every thread with the word and every thread that had a link. Too clumsy if you want something specific but good enough. A useful repository of links would probably entail an entire web site and not be practical here.

Google gave me this: About 5,930,000,000 results (0.10 seconds) That's gotta be a record, took 'em a long time too.
