Neither have I.
I had been living in a 16 X 16 log cabin with no water or electric till I could start building our house. When the well driller was finished after the power was turned on the first thing my wife did was take the pickup and go to garage sales for a used washer. She used it in the front yard for at least 5 months before it started getting to cold.
