Not where I really want to be
NEC 210.52(C)(1) lets us know that the space behind a sink is not considered wallspace and under normal circumstances, you don't have to place receptacles behind the sink, although it IS allowed if you want to.

There is an exception to not requiring the space behind the sink that refers to Figure 210.52(C)(1) where you have more than 12' of space behind a sink or if you have more than 18" when the sink is mounted in the corner of a counter.

We see this more with islands and peninsulas where this exception to not include the space behind does not apply as they have their own requirements.
