LED Driver Accessible? After all, it is a junction box.

What's more important? Being centered or accessible? Plumber would have hacked that right out....
This is a parallel to Code Enforcement:
There are those who APPLY the Code and Those Who INFLICT the Code

I am not sure that getting the Carpenter to move that ceiling, steel stud could be considered Technically Infeasible, so you'll just need to thank him and buy coffee and problem over

Thank You Please understand I use the term to indicate the HEROIC (AKA STUPID) efforts needed when the Code is inflicted for existing construction situations. In many cases the improvements to the existing situation would not be done if we INSIST on construction that meets the letter and not the Intent (aka spirit) and purpose of the Code.

I am sure you have had similar situations where a Judgement Call was in order.
Doesn't happen often, and NO! the Cry Baby approach doesn't affect my judgement

FYI in the "old days" when I apprenticed with a guy doing the small amount of residential I was exposed to, I had the good fortune to work with a guy who told me the 2 Key room sizes were the Kitchen (they already ordered the cabinets) and the bathroom. He would "ADJUST" the location of the bathroom so the WC would miss the joist. So this kind of thinking was instilled in me at an early stage of my training

IMHO
