When posting a new thread (garage penetrations) a few minutes ago I had a weird thing happen. As part of my description i used the words, "car exhaust." When i submitted the thread those words were blue indicating a link. When I clicked on the link it took me to an e-bay page selling an exhaust kit of some kind. It made me look like I was spamming. I edited the thread and removed the words. Any clue what that is all about? Any similar incidents JAR? The link was automatically put in but not by me.

vBulletin has given us Skimlinks and I enabled it months ago. Some words or phrases will link out and we get paid for click throughs. Have not seen any skimlinks money yet but did not check the account either

My only issue is that it makes me look a spammer. Then people who click the link assume that I am supporting the product or endorsing the service or whatever. I think this may turn people off and possibly affect some level of our credibility. I understand that you also need additional revenue sources so I will shut up now.
