Louisiana's plumbing code is based on an IPC precursor but the 2013 version of the code can be found here: http://laphcc.org/documents/2013LouisianaStatePlumbingcode-Title51.pdf

Something to note is that Louisiana does NOT permit the use of Air Admittance Valves (AAVs).
In 2013 the allowable distance from trap to vent in a 2" drain was reduced from 8' to 6'.
