A few weeks ago, I posted a question on a topic, and requested that all

members and visitors to step up and participate.

I am here again to request that the " lurkers " & " random visitors " to

step-up and begin participating in some of the topics and discussions.

That's the way that this type of "electronic medium" functions the best,

...with multiple viewpoints, ...lots of real world experience and

applications, oh and of course, speedy replies are the best! :D

Sometimes I have my "knickers in a twist" trying to find a particular

code section or answer. None of you have that dilemna do you?

Yes, sometimes feathers get ruffled, ..thin skin becomes a little

more thinner, ..semi-harsh and intemperate words are cast out,

and we're opinionated, but I DO believe that this Forum is a very

valuable resource for a lot of people, at least it is for me.

Whether you are in the Fire Service or the building side, or

Zoning, or Floodplain Management or the design professional

side, ..everybody still wins when there are multiple contributions

on here. There are a myriad of topics to choose from.

So, what are you waiting for? Jump on in these "code waters".

Even better would be for you to join this Forum. Together,

all of us can make this an even better place to visit, and that

people will want to visit.

Besides, where else can you go to get this much

entertainment value, for the price. :agree

globe trekker, I would agree with you; the participants are the content.

I belong to another internet discussion group for engineers. If you thrive on conflict that is the place to go! That is to expected, just like here... different opinions, or maybe different interpretations of what is being asked.

Entertaining, educational, and unpredictable.

Agree 100%. I read more than I post and am continually astounded by the knowledge out there. I don't like conflict but sometimes that type of interaction provokes the best thought. If everyone agreed all the time nobody would get anything out of it and this would be an awfully boring forum with very few participants.
