I'm designing a walk-in/walk-through closet that is the access way to a bathroom. Do the closet areas that will be full of clothes count toward minimum aisle/corridor width? Recognizing that it wouldn't be ideal, could I make the functional aisle 24" because the actual wall-to-wall distance would be 6'? Or do I need to make the full closet 7' wide minimum to accommodate 2' on each side for clothes and the full 3' aisle width. Los Angeles, CA, USA
