Oil rig fire alarm disabled

NFPA 72 does allow Positive Alarm Sequencing which many people mistakenly think that the system is disabled. I do not know if the rig's system had PAS or not, but I also doubt the media looked into it either.
 
A good thing he is retired; he won't work a rig anywhere in the world again; after that testimony.

By the way; I have an alibi; and, I don't like the gulf of Mexico; it's filthy; with or without oil rigs. You can smell the stinch from 10 miles away from the coast.
