I seem to remember a thread on the old post about old framing terms posted by RJJ and I got to thinking about an old lay-out method I learned when I started framing in '88, has any-one heard af laying out the walls from north-to-south and from east-to-west? Just wondering if there really was such a thing, or if it was just his method.

You just need to do it consistently..........that way everything stacks, makes it easier. JMHO

you'd be surprised how often I see framing not stacked.........well, maybe not surprised.

Never heard of that...and I never found the skyhook they sent me for either...

sure, they're right next to the board stretchers......... and make sure you grab the blue one, the green one is broke.........LOL
