Something that's outside my realm of knowledge that I casually look at, making vague humming sounds to make it sound like I know what I'm looking at so I don't look like a "idiot" in front of the client or contractor, then say "this seems fine, but our electrical engineer should look at this to confirm".
It's a flux capacitor. Duh.
